Esomeprazole Strontium falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C19 (CYP2C19) SUBSTRATES — the group Eucalyptus interacts with.

Theoretically, eucalyptus might increase the levels of CYP2C19 substrates.
In vitro research suggests that eucalyptus oil might inhibit CYP2C19, although this has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist for esomeprazole strontium, a proton pump inhibitor that lowers stomach acid for heartburn and reflux. Your body clears this drug partly through a liver enzyme called CYP2C19. Lab studies hint that eucalyptus oil might slow that enzyme down a bit. If that happened in real life, esomeprazole could build up slightly and linger longer, which could mean a touch more of its usual mild effects, like headache, nausea, or gas.

The important part: this is only a test-tube finding, and it has never actually been shown in people. Esomeprazole already has a wide safety margin, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Breathing in vapor rubs or lozenges is very unlikely to matter. Still, never swallow eucalyptus oil, and check with your pharmacist if you have concerns.

Esomeprazole strontium is a proton pump inhibitor, the same active medicine as the more common esomeprazole (Nexium), used to lower stomach acid for heartburn, reflux, and ulcers. Your body clears it mainly through liver enzymes, and CYP3A4 plays a part. The idea here is that eucalyptus oil might slow down CYP3A4, which in theory could let a little more esomeprazole linger in your system.

Honestly, this is a very weak, lab-dish concern. It has never been shown to cause problems in real people, and esomeprazole is a forgiving, low-risk drug, so even a small bump is unlikely to do much beyond possibly a bit more headache or stomach upset. Used as a vapor rub or lozenge, the amounts are tiny. Still, never swallow eucalyptus oil, and check with your pharmacist if you have questions.
