Vincristine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Eucalyptus interacts with.

Theoretically, eucalyptus might increase the levels of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research suggests that eucalyptus oil might inhibit CYP3A4, although this has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist for vincristine: your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to break it down and clear it. Lab studies hint that eucalyptol, the active oil in eucalyptus, might slow that enzyme down. If that happened in a real person, vincristine could linger longer and build up, which can mean stronger side effects. With this drug, that often shows up as nerve-related problems like tingling, numbness, weakness, constipation, or worsening neuropathy.

I want to be honest about the strength here. This is theoretical, based only on test-tube work, and it has never been confirmed in people. Still, vincristine is serious chemo, so don't add any eucalyptus product without first checking with your oncologist or pharmacist.

Vincristine Sulfate Injection is approved to treat acute leukemia. It is also used as part of combination chemotherapy regimens for Hodgkin's disease, non-Hodgkin's malignant lymphomas, rhabdomyosarcoma (a soft-tissue cancer), neuroblastoma (a cancer of nerve tissue), and Wilms' tumor (a kidney cancer in children).

Because it works best alongside other cancer medicines, vincristine is almost always given as part of a multi-drug treatment plan rather than on its own.
