Acetaminophen, Aspirin, Caffeine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group False Unicorn interacts with.

In vitro, false unicorn extract inhibits cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) activity. Theoretically, false unicorn might increase the levels of CYP3A4 substrates. Drugs that might be affected include some calcium channel blockers (diltiazem, nicardipine, verapamil), chemotherapeutic agents (etoposide, paclitaxel, vinblastine, vincristine, vindesine), antifungals (ketoconazole, itraconazole), glucocorticoids, cisapride (Propulsid), alfentanil (Alfenta), fentanyl (Sublimaze), losartan (Cozaar), fluoxetine (Prozac), midazolam (Versed), omeprazole (Prilosec), ondansetron (Zofran), propranolol (Inderal), fexofenadine (Allegra), and numerous others.

Here's the honest picture with False Unicorn and your Excedrin (acetaminophen, aspirin, and caffeine). In a lab dish, False Unicorn slowed down an enzyme called CYP3A4. The thought is that blocking this enzyme could let certain medicines build up a bit. But this is only test-tube data, not real people, so it's very theoretical.

For this combo specifically, CYP3A4 plays only a small role. Acetaminophen and aspirin are cleared mostly by other pathways. Caffeine is the one piece this could nudge, possibly leaving you feeling jittery, restless, or having trouble sleeping. That's a mild, unlikely concern. Still, if you take False Unicorn regularly, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on things.
