Boceprevir falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Higenamine interacts with.

Theoretically, higenamine might increase the levels and clinical effects drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
In vitro research shows that higenamine inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes by 21%. However, this effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the short version for Boceprevir: your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to help clear this hepatitis C medication. In a lab dish, higenamine slowed that same enzyme down by about 21%. If that held true in people, Boceprevir could build up a bit, which in theory might mean more of its usual side effects like tiredness, nausea, a metallic taste, or changes in your blood counts.

I want to be honest about the evidence, though. This is only a test-tube finding, and it has never actually been seen in humans, so the real-world risk is uncertain. Since higenamine itself can strain your heart and is often poorly labeled, I'd skip it while on Boceprevir and check with your pharmacist or doctor first.
