Here's the heart of it: paliperidone (your Invega Trinza injection) can already stretch out the heart's electrical reset time, something we call QT prolongation. Iboga, through its main compound ibogaine, has been linked in several case reports to the very same effect. Stacking two QT-stretching things together could add up and, in the worst cases, trigger a dangerous irregular heartbeat with symptoms like fainting, a racing or pounding feeling in your chest, dizziness, or palpitations.

This concern is mostly theoretical and based on scattered case reports, not strong studies, so I don't want to scare you. But ibogaine carries real cardiac risks and isn't legal in the U.S. anyway. Please talk with your doctor or pharmacist before mixing anything like this with your Invega.

What Is Paliperidone Injection Used For?

Brand name: Invega Trinza

Paliperidone injections are used for schizophrenia in adults. Invega Hafyera is an every-six-month injection. It is for adults who have already been adequately treated with a once-a-month paliperidone injection (such as Invega Sustenna) for at least four months, or an every-three-month injection (such as Invega Trinza) for at least one three-month cycle.

Invega Sustenna dosing also covers schizoaffective disorder in adults. Erzofri and Invega Trinza are also in this group, but the supplied evidence does not state their specific uses.
