What Is Mometasone Topical Used For?

Brand names: Elocon, Asmanex

Mometasone Furoate topical products are used to relieve the redness, swelling, and itching (inflammatory and pruritic symptoms) caused by skin conditions that respond to corticosteroid treatment.

Mometasone Furoate Topical Solution USP, 0.1% (Lotion) is approved for these skin conditions in patients 12 years of age and older. Mometasone Furoate cream may be used in adults and in children as young as 2 years of age.
