Temsirolimus falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Larch Arabinogalactan interacts with.

Theoretically, larch arabinogalactan might interfere with immunosuppression therapy due to immunostimulant effects. Immunosuppressant drugs include azathioprine (Imuran), basiliximab (Simulect), cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune), daclizumab (Zenapax), muromonab-CD3 (OKT3, Orthoclone OKT3), mycophenolate (CellCept), tacrolimus (FK506, Prograf), sirolimus (Rapamune), prednisone (Deltasone, Orasone), corticosteroids (glucocorticoids), and other drugs.

Here's the thinking behind this one. Larch arabinogalactan is a fiber that may gently nudge the immune system to be a bit more active. Temsirolimus (Torisel) works in the opposite direction. While it's mainly used to slow kidney cancer growth, it's an mTOR inhibitor that also quiets down immune activity. So the worry is that the supplement's immune-stimulating effect could, in theory, work against what your medication is doing.

I want to be honest about the strength of this concern: it's theoretical, based on how each thing works rather than real cases. It's not proven to cause a problem. Still, since temsirolimus is a serious cancer treatment, I'd skip the supplement unless your oncologist or pharmacist gives you the green light. Please loop them in before adding it.
