Lansoprazole, Amoxicillin, Clarithromycin falls under ANTIBIOTIC DRUGS — the group Levilactobacillus Brevis interacts with.

Theoretically, taking Levilactobacillus brevis with antibiotic drugs might decrease the effectiveness of L. brevis.
Levilactobacillus brevis preparations usually contain live and active organisms. Therefore, simultaneously taking antibiotics might kill a significant number of the organisms. Tell patients to separate administration of antibiotics and L. brevis preparations by at least two hours.

Here's the thing to know: Prevpac is a combo pack that includes two antibiotics, amoxicillin and clarithromycin (plus lansoprazole, an acid reducer), usually taken to clear an H. pylori stomach infection. Since Levilactobacillus brevis is a live probiotic bacterium, taking it at the same time as these antibiotics can simply kill off a good chunk of those helpful bugs. The concern here runs the other way from most interactions: the antibiotics don't get weaker, the probiotic does.

This is a theoretical concern based on how antibiotics work, not a dangerous reaction, and it won't hurt your treatment. If you want the probiotic to count, a simple fix is to space them out by at least two hours. When in doubt, your pharmacist can help you time it.
