Insulin Lispro-Aabc falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Manchurian Thorn interacts with.

Animal research suggests that saponins isolated from Manchurian thorn can lower plasma glucose levels. Theoretically, concomitant use with antidiabetes drugs might affect glucose control and increase the risk of hypoglycemia; use with caution.
Some antidiabetes drugs include glimepiride (Amaryl), glyburide (DiaBeta, Glynase PresTab, Micronase), insulin, metformin (Glucophage), pioglitazone (Actos), rosiglitazone (Avandia), and others.

Lyumjev (insulin lispro-aabc) is a fast-acting mealtime insulin that already lowers your blood sugar quickly and powerfully. The concern here is simply additive: in animal studies, the saponins in Manchurian Thorn appeared to nudge blood sugar down on their own. If that holds true in people, layering it on top of your insulin could push your sugar lower than intended.

That means a higher chance of a low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) episode, with symptoms like shakiness, sweating, a racing heart, confusion, or feeling lightheaded. I'll be honest though: this is theoretical, based on lab and animal data, not solid human studies. Please don't change your insulin on your own. If you'd like to try this supplement, check in with your pharmacist or doctor first and keep a closer eye on your glucose readings.
