ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
Why this applies to Aspirin, Caffeine, Codeine Phosphate
Aspirin, Caffeine, Codeine Phosphate falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Marjoram interacts with.
Some anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs include aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), dalteparin (Fragmin), enoxaparin (Lovenox), heparin, ticlopidine (Ticlid), warfarin (Coumadin), and others.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
This combination product contains aspirin, which already thins your blood a bit by keeping platelets from sticking together. That is actually how it helps with pain and clotting. Lab studies hint that marjoram may do something similar, blocking platelets from clumping. Put them together in concentrated amounts and you could, in theory, nudge your bleeding risk a little higher.
Realistically, things to watch for would be easy bruising, bleeding gums, nosebleeds, or cuts that are slow to stop. I want to be honest though: this is based only on test-tube research, not human studies, so the real-world risk is uncertain. Sprinkling marjoram on dinner is unlikely to matter. If you take it as a daily supplement or essential oil, just run it past your pharmacist or doctor first.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Aspirin, Caffeine, Codeine Phosphate page
“Anacin with Codeine combines aspirin, caffeine, and codeine, and each of the three picks up its own supplement problems, so this is a list worth real caution. Just over half of the 398 ingredients here, 202 of them, can add to aspirin's blood-thinning action and raise bleeding risk.”
