Nortriptyline falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Methoxylated Flavones interacts with.
Some drugs metabolized by CYP1A2 include clozapine (Clozaril), cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril), fluvoxamine (Luvox), haloperidol (Haldol), imipramine (Tofranil), mexiletine (Mexitil), olanzapine (Zyprexa), Pentazocine (Talwin), propranolol (Inderal), tacrine (Cognex), theophylline (Slo-bid, Theo-Dur, others), zileuton (Zyflo), Zolmitriptan (Zomig), and others.

Here's the gist for nortriptyline. Your liver uses an enzyme called CYP1A2 to help break this antidepressant down. In lab dish studies, methoxylated flavones from citrus peel might speed that enzyme up. If that happened in real life, your body could clear nortriptyline a little faster, which in theory could lower its blood level and make it less effective for your depression. You might notice your mood symptoms creeping back.
I want to be honest though: this is purely theoretical. It comes from cell studies, some of which didn't even show the effect, and it has never been reported in actual people. Everyday citrus in food is very unlikely to matter. Before starting a concentrated supplement, just check in with your pharmacist or doctor.
