Eptifibatide falls under Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs — the group Mullein interacts with.

Lab tests on extracts from different parts of common and dense-flowered mullein plants show that they do have some blood-thinning effects, as they increase the time it takes for blood to clot. This is likely due to at least one of the known constituents of muellein, triterpenoid saponins. However, the effects appear to be mild and results have been inconsistent. Extracts from different plant parts have been show to have varying anticoagulant strengths, with water-based ones being more potent than alcohol-based extracts.

Here's the situation with these two together. Eptifibatide (Integrilin) is a powerful IV blood thinner given in the hospital, usually during a heart procedure or for a serious heart event. Its whole job is to stop your platelets from clumping, so you're already at higher risk for bruising and bleeding while you're on it.

Mullein, in lab studies, has shown a mild ability to slow down clotting on its own. So in theory, layering it on top of eptifibatide could nudge your bleeding risk up a little. That said, the evidence here is weak and inconsistent, the effect looks small, and honestly, if you're receiving eptifibatide you're in a closely monitored hospital setting. Still, tell your care team about any mullein use rather than deciding on your own.
