Octacosanol + Talinolol
Talinolol brand name: Talinolol.
Octacosanol has a moderate interaction with Talinolol. Theoretically, concomitant use of octacosanol with beta-blockers might result in additive hypotensive effects.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
BETA-BLOCKERS
Why this applies to Talinolol
Talinolol falls under BETA-BLOCKERS — the group Octacosanol interacts with.
Octacosanol is the main component of policosanol. Clinical research shows that policosanol 5 mg daily can have additive blood pressure-lowering effects in patients with hypertension who are taking beta-blockers. Also, animal research shows that policosanol can increase the hypotensive effects of propranolol. It is not clear if these effects occur with the use of octacosanol.
Interaction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports..
Talinolol is a beta-blocker that helps lower blood pressure and slow your heart rate. Octacosanol is the main piece of policosanol, and in studies policosanol added a little extra blood pressure lowering for people already on a beta-blocker. So if you pair the two, your blood pressure could dip a bit more than usual. That can leave you feeling lightheaded, dizzy, or tired, especially when you stand up quickly.
Here's the honest part: we have good data for policosanol, but it's not fully clear that octacosanol by itself does the same thing. This isn't dangerous for most folks, just something to watch. Before adding it, check with your pharmacist or doctor, and keep an eye on how you feel.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Talinolol page
“Most of what talinolol does, slowing the heart and lowering blood pressure as a beta-blocker, is exactly what the supplements on this page can amplify or undo, so I would approach any combination here with genuine care. The largest share adds to its blood-pressure-lowering effect, risking dizziness, a slow pulse, or fainting, while a f…”
