Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CNS DEPRESSANTS
Why this applies to Clobazam
Clobazam falls under CNS DEPRESSANTS — the group Poria Mushroom interacts with.
Animal research shows that poria mushroom extract has sedative properties. This interaction has not been shown in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Clobazam already works by calming overactive electrical signals in the brain, which is exactly why it helps control seizures. The concern here is simple overlap: Poria mushroom has shown mild sedative or calming effects in animal studies, so in theory it could add to Clobazam's own drowsy side of things. If both push in the same direction, you might feel sleepier, foggier, or more tired than usual, and your balance or coordination could be off.
I want to be honest about how soft this evidence is. This is based on lab and animal research only, and it has not actually been seen in people. It is not a dangerous, well-documented interaction. Still, since both affect the nervous system, it is worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding Poria, especially with seizure medicine in the mix.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Clobazam page
“Clobazam (Onfi, Sympazan, Frisium) is a benzodiazepine for seizures, so extra sedation is a real safety hazard rather than a nuisance, and that is what most of this list adds. The great majority of these supplements and herbs deepen drowsiness, alcohol in any form among the most serious pairings.”

Poria mushroom (Fu Ling) is a fungus long used in Traditional Chinese Medicine, mainly as a mild diuretic and digestive and calming aid. Modern scientific evidence in humans is very limited, so its benefits are not well proven. It is generally considered well tolerated, but talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using it, and avoid it in pregnancy and breastfeeding due to a lack of safety data.
