Here's the basic idea with Tremfya (guselkumab): this medication works by quieting down part of your overactive immune system to calm psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis. Rice Bran Arabinoxylan Compound is marketed to do the opposite, it's promoted as an immune booster. So in theory, the supplement could push against what your medication is trying to do, possibly making it work a little less well and letting symptoms like skin plaques or joint pain creep back.

I want to be honest about how soft this concern is. It's based on lab studies and the supplement's general pharmacology, not on real cases with Tremfya, so it's more of a 'maybe' than a proven problem. Still, since you're already on a serious medication, please loop in your pharmacist or doctor before adding it.

About Guselkumab Injection

What Is Guselkumab Injection Used For?

Brand name: Tremfya

Tremfya (guselkumab) injection is approved to treat adults and children 6 years of age and older who weigh at least 40 kg (about 88 lbs) with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis or active psoriatic arthritis. It is also approved for adults with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease.

For plaque psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, Tremfya is an option when systemic therapy or phototherapy is appropriate. For ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, Tremfya is approved for adult patients only — it has not been established as safe and effective for children with those conditions.
