Here's the thing about iloprost (Ventavis): while it's mainly known for relaxing the blood vessels in your lungs, it also has a mild effect of keeping platelets from clumping together. That matters here because lab and animal studies hint that rosemary may also slow down platelet activity. Stack those two together and, in theory, you could nudge up the risk of easy bruising, nosebleeds, or bleeding that's slower to stop.

I want to be honest with you though: this is a theoretical concern based only on test-tube and animal research, not real patient cases. Cooking with rosemary is almost certainly nothing to worry about. Concentrated rosemary supplements are where I'd pause. Before adding one, just check with your doctor or pharmacist who manages your PAH.

Aurlumyn (iloprost injection, given intravenously) is approved to treat severe frostbite in adults, specifically to reduce the risk of losing fingers or toes (digit amputations). Its effectiveness was established in young, healthy adults who experienced frostbite at high altitudes.
