Hydrocodone, Ibuprofen falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Sorrel interacts with.

Theoretically, sorrel might cause additive effects and side effects when used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
In vitro, sorrel has been shown to inhibit platelet aggregation. However, this effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the connection with Vicoprofen, which is a combo of hydrocodone (an opioid) and ibuprofen (an NSAID). The ibuprofen part already has a mild blood-thinning effect because it temporarily slows down how your platelets clump together. In lab dish studies, sorrel has shown a similar platelet-slowing action. So in theory, pairing the two could add up and make it a little easier to bruise or bleed, or slow how quickly small cuts stop oozing.

I want to be honest though: this is based only on test-tube research and has not actually been seen in people, so the real-world risk looks low. Culinary amounts of sorrel in soup or salad are very unlikely to matter. If you're using concentrated sorrel supplements regularly, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor first.
