Meprobamate falls under CNS DEPRESSANTS — the group Theacrine interacts with.

Theoretically, theacrine might alter the effects of CNS depressants.
Animal research shows that low doses of theacrine have sedating effects, whereas high doses might have stimulant effects. Depending on the dose of theacrine used, it might increase or decrease the effects of CNS depressants. However, these effects have not yet been reported in humans.

Here's the gist with meprobamate, which is a calming tranquilizer that slows down activity in your brain to ease anxiety. Theacrine is a caffeine-like stimulant, and on paper the two could pull against each other or, oddly, add together. In animal studies, low doses of theacrine actually had a sedating effect, while higher doses acted more like a stimulant. So depending on the dose, it might deepen meprobamate's drowsiness, dizziness, and grogginess, or it might work against the calming effect you're taking the medicine for.

I want to be honest: this is theoretical, based only on lab and animal research, and hasn't been seen in real people. It's not a meprobamate prodrug issue. Still, since both touch the brain, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

Meprobamate tablets are used to manage anxiety disorders or to provide short-term relief of anxiety symptoms. It is intended for anxiety that rises to the level of a disorder — everyday stress and tension that most people experience generally do not require this type of medication.

Because its effectiveness beyond four months has not been well studied, meprobamate is typically used for a limited period of time, with a prescriber checking in regularly to decide whether continued use is still appropriate.
