Vanadium + Acetylsalicylic acid
Acetylsalicylic acid brand name: Entrophen.
Vanadium has a moderate interaction with Acetylsalicylic acid. Theoretically, vanadium might increase the risk of bleeding when taken with anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
Why this applies to Acetylsalicylic acid
Acetylsalicylic acid falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Vanadium interacts with.
In vitro research shows that the sodium orthovanadate form of vanadium prolongs clotting time, likely through inhibition of thrombin and factor Xa.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the simple version: aspirin already thins your blood a bit by blocking platelets, which is exactly why it helps prevent clots. Vanadium may add to that blood-thinning effect. In lab studies, one form of vanadium slowed down clotting by interfering with proteins your body uses to form clots. Stacked on top of aspirin, the theory is you could bruise more easily or bleed a little longer than usual.
But I want to keep this in perspective. This warning comes only from test-tube research, not from people, so it's more of a caution than a proven problem. Tiny amounts of vanadium in food won't matter. If you're considering a concentrated vanadium supplement while taking aspirin, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Acetylsalicylic acid page
“Acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin, sold as Entrophen) thins the blood by design, which is exactly why this page earns real vigilance rather than a quick skim. Of the 242 supplement and herbal ingredients on file, more than 200 can add to that blood-thinning effect and raise the chance of bruising or bleeding, especially in the stomach.”

About Vanadium
What is Vanadium?
- Blood sugar and diabetes support
- Athletic performance and muscle building
- Lowering cholesterol
- General trace-mineral supplementation
Vanadium is a trace mineral found in tiny amounts in food, and people get plenty from a normal diet. Supplement claims for diabetes, weight, and athletic performance are not well proven, and higher doses can be toxic. Most people do not need to supplement it, and you should check with your doctor or pharmacist before using it.

Acetylsalicylic acid Is Linked to Lower Levels of 3 Nutrients
Natural Medicines records Acetylsalicylic acid as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Vanadium — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
