Canagliflozin, Metformin falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Vanadium interacts with.

Theoretically, vanadium might increase the risk of hypoglycemia when taken with antidiabetes drugs.
A few very small clinical studies in patients with type 2 diabetes show that the vanadyl sulfate form of vanadium increases insulin sensitivity and might lower blood glucose levels.

Here's the thing to keep in mind: Invokamet (canagliflozin plus metformin) already lowers your blood sugar, and vanadium may nudge it down even further. In a few small studies, the vanadyl sulfate form seemed to make the body more sensitive to insulin and lower glucose readings. Stack that on top of two blood sugar medicines and you could drift too low.

Watch for signs of hypoglycemia like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, confusion, or a racing heart. This is more theory than proven fact, and food amounts of vanadium are unlikely to matter, but concentrated supplements could. Please don't start or stop anything on your own. Just check with your pharmacist or doctor first, and keep monitoring your sugars.
