Rimegepant falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Zedoary interacts with.

Theoretically, zedoary might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
In-vitro research shows that a methanol extract of zedoary strongly inhibits the CYP3A4 metabolism of the tyrosine kinase inhibitors lapatinib and sorafenib, and to a lesser extent, gefitinib.

Here's the gist for your migraine medicine. Nurtec (rimegepant) is cleared from your body by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In lab dish studies, zedoary appears to slow that same enzyme down. If that holds true in people, your body might break rimegepant down more slowly, letting it build up a bit higher than usual. That could mean more of its common side effects, mainly nausea or stomach upset.

I want to be honest though: this is a theoretical concern based only on test-tube research, not real patient cases. A pinch of zedoary as a cooking spice is very unlikely to matter. A concentrated supplement is the bigger question mark. Before pairing the two, just run it by your pharmacist or doctor so they can take a look.
