ABC White Grape Ingredients & Drug Interactions
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking ABC White Grape against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
ABC White Grape is a powder with six active ingredients designed to support athletic performance and recovery. L-glutamine supports muscle recovery and may help with sickle cell disease and critical illness.
The three branched-chain amino acids—L-leucine, L-isoleucine, and L-valine—work together to fuel muscles during and after exercise. CarnoSyn (a branded form of beta-alanine) may boost physical performance, and citrulline malate helps with blood flow and endurance.
The inactive ingredients are natural and artificial flavors, citric acid, and the sweeteners sucralose and acesulfame-K.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
L-glutamine is effective for sickle cell disease and shows possible effectiveness for HIV/AIDS-related wasting, postoperative recovery, and critical illness from trauma. CarnoSyn (beta-alanine) is possibly effective for athletic performance and physical performance; the evidence for its use in age-related cognitive decline, COPD, cognitive function, and menopausal symptoms is currently insufficient to rate.
We don't have effectiveness data on file for the branched-chain amino acids, citrulline malate, or L-leucine individually.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
L-glutamine is generally well tolerated in healthy adults. The most common side effects are digestive—belching, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, flatulence, nausea, and vomiting—plus headache and musculoskeletal pain.
Dizziness has been reported. If you have kidney or liver disease, use it only under medical supervision.
Avoid supplemental doses during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless your doctor advises otherwise. Beta-alanine (CarnoSyn) is generally well tolerated but causes a harmless tingling feeling (paresthesia) and skin flushing in most people, typically starting on the scalp within 20 minutes and lasting about an hour.
Avoid beta-alanine during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to insufficient safety data. Long-term safety at high doses hasn't been studied.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
The main one to watch: if you take anticonvulsant medication (seizure drugs), check with your pharmacist before starting. The interaction is Moderate—L-glutamine might reduce how well your medication works—and though it hasn't been seen in patients yet, it's worth confirming your specific drug is safe.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
ABC White Grape is designed for athletes and people in recovery, with research backing for glutamine in certain medical conditions and beta-alanine in exercise performance. If you take anticonvulsants or any other prescription medications, check them against this product first.
People with kidney or liver disease and anyone pregnant or breastfeeding should talk with their pharmacist before use.
