What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains one active ingredient: tree of heaven extract. The liquid also includes vegetable palm glycerin and crystal clear artesian Hawaiian water as inactive ingredients.
Does it work?
Couldn't assess
We hold no effectiveness ratings for tree of heaven extract in our data, so we cannot tell you whether this product works for any particular purpose.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Human safety data for tree of heaven are limited. Large amounts of the bark have been reported to cause queasiness, dizziness, headache, tingling in the limbs, and diarrhea.
The plant can also irritate your stomach and skin. The product should be avoided in pregnancy because traditional use of tree of heaven raises concern about effects on menstruation, and not enough safety information exists.
It's also best avoided while breastfeeding, since there are no reliable safety data during lactation.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Check any anticoagulant or antiplatelet medications — blood thinners like warfarin and drugs such as aspirin or clopidogrel — before taking this product. The extract may theoretically increase bleeding risk, though this hasn't been confirmed in people.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no assessable stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
If you're curious about tree of heaven extract and have no bleeding disorder or blood-thinning medications, a conversation with your pharmacist can help. If you take anticoagulants or antiplatelet drugs, check your exact medications before using this product.
Because human safety data are sparse, let your healthcare provider know you're considering it.

Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Theoretically, tree of heaven extract might reduce platelet aggregation and increase the risk of bleeding if used with antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs. In vitro evidence shows that tree of heaven crude extract attenuates epinephrine and adenosine diphosphate-induced platelet aggregation. This interaction has not been seen in humans. Until more is known, use with caution in patients taking anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
