What’s inside
Full disclosure
ChewQ 100 mg contains one active ingredient: coenzyme Q10 at 100 mg per tablet. Coenzyme Q10 is a naturally occurring compound your body makes and uses for cell energy and as an antioxidant.
The tablet also contains inactive ingredients—xylitol, gamma cyclodextrin, orange flavor, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, gum arabic, and maltodextrin—which are fillers and binders that help form and flavor the tablet.
Does it work?
Strong evidence
Coenzyme Q10 is likely effective for correcting coenzyme Q10 deficiency. The evidence is stronger for that specific indication.
For fibromyalgia, migraine headaches, congestive heart failure, and diabetic neuropathy, coenzyme Q10 is rated possibly effective—meaning some clinical research supports it, but the evidence isn't conclusive. The data we hold doesn't establish effectiveness for other uses.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Coenzyme Q10 is generally well tolerated by most adults when used as directed. In clinical trials, no serious side effects have been reported.
The most common side effects are gastrointestinal—appetite suppression, diarrhea, heartburn, nausea, and vomiting—but these occur in less than 1% of people and can often be reduced by dividing doses above 100 mg. Headache, dizziness, and insomnia have also been reported in studies, as well as rare reports of skin itching and rashes.
There is not enough reliable safety data for use during pregnancy, so it's best to avoid it unless your doctor advises otherwise. Safety during breastfeeding has not been well studied; check with your doctor before use.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before you take ChewQ 100 mg, check with your pharmacist if you're on any chemotherapy drugs (alkylating agents), warfarin, or blood pressure medications. Coenzyme Q10 can reduce how well chemotherapy and warfarin work and may lower your blood pressure further.
These are the main medication types that need a second look.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with clinical evidence supporting its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
ChewQ 100 mg may help if you have a coenzyme Q10 deficiency or conditions like migraine or heart failure, but the evidence for those conditions is not definitive. If you take chemotherapy, warfarin, or blood pressure medication, you need to check with your pharmacist before starting this product—it can interfere with how these drugs work.
Pregnant people should avoid it unless their doctor says otherwise.

ChewQ 100 mg by Tishcon Corp. Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
ChewQ 100 mg contains coenzyme Q10, which does interact with several important medications.
The most serious concern is with chemotherapy drugs called alkylating agents (such as cyclophosphamide). Coenzyme Q10 is an antioxidant, and there's a theoretical risk that it might protect cancer cells from these drugs and reduce how well they work.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Coenzyme Q10 can also affect warfarin (Coumadin), a blood thinner. It's chemically similar to vitamin K and might reduce warfarin's ability to thin your blood.
Four cases of decreased warfarin effectiveness have been reported. Additionally, coenzyme Q10 may have minor additive effects when combined with blood pressure medications, potentially lowering your blood pressure further.
Although coenzyme Q10 is one ingredient, it interacts across multiple drugs. Altogether, these interactions span 198 individual medications.
If you're on any chemotherapy, warfarin, or blood pressure medication, check your exact drugs with the tool below before starting this product.

For each ingredient in ChewQ 100 mg with known interactions, here are the types of medications it can affect. Open any type for the detail — or search your exact drug in the checker above.
Coenzyme Q10
Alkylating Agents
Coenzyme Q10 has antioxidant effects. Theoretically, this may reduce the activity of chemotherapy drugs that generate free radicals.
Theoretically, antioxidants such as coenzyme Q10 might protect tumor cells from chemotherapeutic agents that work by inducing oxidative stress, such as alkylating agents (e.g., cyclophosphamide) and radiation therapy. The clinical importance of this interaction is unknown.
Warfarin (Coumadin)
Coenzyme Q10 is chemically similar to menaquinone and might have vitamin K-like procoagulant effects, which could decrease the effects of warfarin.
Concomitant use of coenzyme Q10 and warfarin might reduce the anticoagulant effects of warfarin. Four cases of decreased warfarin efficacy thought to be due to coenzyme Q10 have been reported. However, there is some preliminary clinical research that suggests coenzyme Q10 might not significantly decrease the effects of warfarin in patients who have a stable INR.
Antihypertensive Drugs
Theoretically, coenzyme Q10 might have additive effects with antihypertensive drugs.
Some clinical research shows that coenzyme Q10 can significantly lower blood pressure, although other studies have shown conflicting results.
