Gut Eze contains 3 active probiotic ingredients: a proprietary blend of live cultures and two named bacterial strains—Lactobacillus casei casei SD-5842 and two Bifidobacterium species. These are live microorganisms meant to support your gut flora.
The capsule also contains inactive ingredients (microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide) that serve as fillers and binders.

Not established
The evidence for these probiotics is incomplete. For Bifidobacterium breve, we have insufficient reliable evidence to rate its usefulness for allergic rhinitis (hay fever), antibiotic-associated diarrhea, or atopic disease—and it's been rated possibly ineffective for age-related cognitive decline and sepsis.
For Bifidobacterium longum, the same pattern holds: insufficient evidence for allergic rhinitis, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, anxiety, asthma, and athletic performance. In short, what this product is actually meant to do isn't clearly established in the data we hold.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Both Bifidobacterium strains are generally well tolerated in healthy people. However, caution is needed if you're seriously ill or have a weakened immune system—there have been rare cases of these bacteria entering the bloodstream in critically ill infants and adults, especially preterm infants.
Common side effects with probiotic use include bloating and flatulence, though these haven't been specifically reported with B. breve. Rare side effects from B. longum include abdominal discomfort, constipation, and even a dry cough in one trial participant.
Because safety data are limited, check with your doctor before use, especially if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or seriously ill. Data on pregnancy safety for B. breve are not on file; for B. longum, the evidence suggests it's possibly safe, but talk with your doctor for personalized advice.

Bifidobacterium breve CGMCC 6402
Antibiotic Drugs
Theoretically, taking Bifidobacterium breve with antibiotic drugs might decrease the effectiveness of B. breve.
Since B. breve preparations usually contain live and active organisms, simultaneously taking antibiotics might kill a significant number of the organisms. Tell patients to separate administration of antibiotics and B. breve preparations by at least 2 hours.

Theoretically, taking Bifidobacterium longum with antibiotic drugs might decrease the effectiveness of B. longum.
Since B. longum preparations usually contain live and active organisms, simultaneously taking antibiotics might kill a significant number of the organisms. Tell patients to separate administration of antibiotics and B. longum preparations by at least 2 hours.
