MagniFlora Seven Ingredients & Drug Interactions
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking MagniFlora Seven against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
MagniFlora Seven contains 7 active ingredients, all probiotics — beneficial bacteria strains meant to support your gut health. The main ones we have data for are Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium longum, Bacillus subtilis DE111, and Bifidobacterium breve.
The product also includes Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus casei, and a blend labeled as "Probiotic Bacteria." The capsules also contain three inactive ingredients: cellulose, maltodextrin, and medium chain triglyceride — these are fillers and binders that hold the product together.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence for these probiotics is mixed. Lactobacillus acidophilus shows possibly effective ratings for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Helicobacter pylori infection, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, and bacterial vaginosis.
Bacillus subtilis DE111 is possibly effective for antibiotic-associated diarrhea. For most other uses listed — like anxiety, asthma, athletic performance, and constipation — the evidence is insufficient to rate these ingredients.
For several conditions, the data is even thinner: Bifidobacterium longum and Bifidobacterium breve have little to no reliable evidence for the conditions tested. If you're considering this product for a specific health goal, talk with your pharmacist about whether the evidence backs it up.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
These probiotics are generally well tolerated in healthy adults and children. That said, because they contain live organisms, there is a small risk — especially in people who are very ill or have weak immune systems — that the bacteria could cross the gut barrier and cause a serious infection.
This is rare but documented in the medical literature, particularly in preterm infants and critically ill patients. Common, mild side effects are uncommon but can include bloating, flatulence, abdominal discomfort, and diarrhea when you first start.
Bifidobacterium longum is rated possibly safe in pregnancy and lactation, though data are limited; no pregnancy or lactation safety data are on file for the other ingredients we checked. If you're pregnant, nursing, or have a serious illness or immune condition, check with your doctor before starting.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
If you take antibiotic drugs, separate them from this product — take one in the morning and the other several hours later (your pharmacist can advise on exact timing). Four of the seven active ingredients we checked interact with antibiotics at a Moderate level.
We couldn't check three other probiotic strains in the blend, so run any prescription medications through the search tool on this page to be sure.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with some supporting evidence behind its ingredients' uses. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
MagniFlora Seven is a multispecies probiotic that may help with IBS, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, and a few other gut-related issues, though the evidence is strongest for digestive problems. The main thing to watch is spacing it away from antibiotics — they'll kill the live bacteria and waste your dose.
If you're seriously ill, immunocompromised, pregnant, or nursing, talk to your pharmacist or doctor first.

MagniFlora Seven by Logos Nutritionals Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
MagniFlora Seven by Logos Nutritionals is a probiotic blend, and it does interact with one major medication category.
Four of its active ingredients — Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium longum, Bacillus subtilis DE111, and Bifidobacterium breve — all carry a Moderate interaction with antibiotic drugs. Because these probiotics contain live, active organisms, taking antibiotics at the same time might kill enough of them to reduce the product's effectiveness.
The fix is straightforward: space out your doses. Your pharmacist or doctor can tell you the right timing for your specific antibiotic.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Altogether, these interactions span 182 individual medications.
We couldn't check three other ingredients in this blend — Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, and Lactobacillus casei — because we don't hold interaction data for them. That doesn't mean they're trouble-free; it just means we have no monograph on file.
