Stinagra RX Ingredients & Drug Interactions
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Stinagra RX against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
Stinagra RX contains eight active ingredients in a proprietary blend: nettle root extract, saw palmetto fruit extract, wild yam root extract, sarsaparilla root extract, tongkat ali (Eurycoma longifolia) root extract, horny goat weed leaf extract, orchic substance (from bovine testicular tissue), and boron amino acid chelate. The blend is designed as a men's supplement, combining herbal extracts traditionally used for sexual function and prostate health with a mineral and animal-tissue component.
The capsules also contain silica, magnesium stearate, and gelatin as inactive ingredients.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence for Stinagra RX's ingredients is mixed and limited. Tongkat ali shows possibly effective evidence for sexual desire.
Nettle root is possibly effective for diabetes, though the other ingredients lack solid evidence for their claimed uses — boron has possibly effective evidence only for boron deficiency, vaginal candidiasis, and radiation dermatitis, none of which are typically marketed as a reason to use this product. Saw palmetto is possibly ineffective for benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate), which is a central marketing claim.
Most other uses in this blend — menopausal symptoms, sexual dysfunction, athletic performance — lack sufficient reliable evidence or are marked possibly ineffective. The evidence supporting the overall product is not established in the data we hold.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
When used as directed, most of these ingredients are generally well tolerated in the short term, though long-term safety data are sparse. Common side effects from individual ingredients include constipation, diarrhea, headache, fever, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and dry mouth.
Saw palmetto rarely causes fixed drug eruptions (localized blisters), and horny goat weed can rarely cause respiratory arrest. Nettle root carries a rare case report of liver injury.
Boron is generally safe at low doses but becomes toxic at high doses — chronic use of very large amounts can cause skin damage and hair loss. Orchic extract is derived from raw bovine testicular tissue and carries theoretical concerns about contamination from diseased animals, though no human cases of disease transmission have been reported.
None of these ingredients should be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding — safety data are either absent or advise against it.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before taking Stinagra RX, check whether you use blood pressure medication (moderate risk of excessive lowering), blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs like warfarin or aspirin (moderate risk of bleeding), diabetes medication (moderate risk of low blood sugar), water pills or diuretics (moderate risk of electrolyte shifts), lithium for mood disorders (moderate risk of toxicity), hormonal birth control or estrogen therapy (moderate risk of reduced effectiveness), the beta-blocker propranolol (moderate risk of reduced effectiveness), or any drug processed by liver enzymes — especially those dependent on CYP1A2, CYP2B6, or CYP3A4 pathways. Because this product has multiple ingredients affecting different pathways, the safest step is to run your full medication list through the interaction checker below.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with some supporting evidence for its stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
Stinagra RX is a multi-ingredient supplement with broad potential interactions, especially with blood pressure drugs, blood thinners, diabetes medications, diuretics, hormonal birth control, and many drugs metabolized by the liver. Stinagra RX by Justified Laboratories Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Stinagra RX by Justified Laboratories contains multiple ingredients with documented interactions to medications.
The most serious concern is horny goat weed, which can inhibit several liver enzymes (CYP1A2, CYP2B6, CYP3A4) at moderate severity — potentially raising levels of many drugs that depend on those pathways for clearance. It may also increase the risk of bleeding with blood thinners (anticoagulants/antiplatelets) and theoretically lower blood pressure further if you're already on blood pressure medication.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Nettle root extract interacts with blood sugar drugs (antidiabetes medications), water pills (diuretics), the mood stabilizer lithium, and blood thinners like warfarin — all at moderate severity. Saw palmetto may weaken hormonal birth control and estrogen therapy, and can increase bleeding risk.
Wild yam may interfere with estrogens. Sarsaparilla and tongkat ali both carry moderate concerns with lithium.
Tongkat ali also reduces the effectiveness of the beta-blocker propranolol. Orchic substance and boron were not adequately checked for interactions in our data.
Altogether, these interactions span 1,064 individual medications. Because so many drug types are potentially affected — especially blood pressure drugs, blood thinners, diabetes medications, diuretics, hormonal contraceptives, and liver-processed medications — you must check your exact prescriptions with the tool below before you start.

Horny Goat Weed Leaf Extract
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Theoretically, horny goat weed might increase the risk of bleeding.
In vitro research and animal research shows that horny goat weed can inhibit platelet aggregation and thrombus formation. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Antihypertensive Drugs
Theoretically, horny goat weed might increase the risk of hypotension.
Laboratory research suggests that horny goat weed might have hypotensive effects. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 1A2 (Cyp1A2) Substrates
Theoretically, horny goat weed might increase the effects and side effects of CYP1A2 substrates.
In vitro, horny goat weed leaf extract inhibits CYP1A2. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2B6 (Cyp2B6) Substrates
Theoretically, horny goat weed might increase the effects and side effects of CYP2B6 substrates.
In vitro, horny goat weed leaf extract inhibits CYP2B6. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 3A4 (Cyp3A4) Substrates
Theoretically, horny goat weed might increase the effects and side effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro, horny goat weed extract inhibits CYP3A4 and suppresses CYP3A4 mRNA expression. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Estrogens
Theoretically, concomitant use of horny goat weed with estrogens might increase their therapeutic and adverse effects.
In vitro evidence suggests that horny goat weed has estrogenic activity. In clinical research, horny goat weed has been shown to increase blood levels of estrogen in some females.
Tongkat Ali Root Extract
Propranolol (Inderal)
Eurycoma longifolia can reduce the levels and clinical effects of propranolol.
A small clinical study in healthy persons shows that taking a single dose of a water-based Eurycoma longifolia extract 200 mg, in combination with a single dose of propranolol 80 mg, reduces the propranolol area under the curve (AUC) by 29%, reduces the peak concentration by 42%, and increases time to peak concentration by 86% when compared with control. Since the elimination half-life of propranolol did not change, it seems that Eurycoma longifolia alters the kinetics of propranolol by decreasing its absorption in the gut, and not by altering its metabolism. It is not known if separating administration will prevent this interaction.
Cytochrome P450 1A2 (Cyp1A2) Substrates
Theoretically, Eurycoma longifolia might increase levels CYP1A2 substrates.
In vitro research suggests that methanolic Eurycoma longifolia root extract weakly inhibits CYP1A2 enzymes. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2A6 (Cyp2A6) Substrates
Theoretically, Eurycoma longifolia might increase levels of CYP2A6 substrates.
In vitro research suggests that methanolic Eurycoma longifolia root extract weakly inhibits CYP2A6 enzymes. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2C19 (Cyp2C19) Substrates
Theoretically, Eurycoma longifolia might increase levels of CYP2C19 substrates.
In vitro research suggests that methanolic Eurycoma longifolia root extract weakly inhibits CYP2C19 enzymes. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Testosterone
Theoretically, Eurycoma longifolia may further increase levels of testosterone.
A clinical study in aging males with testosterone levels below 300 ng/dL shows that taking a specific water extract of Eurycoma longifolia roots (Physta; Biotropics Malaysia) 100-200 mg daily with breakfast for 12 weeks increases total testosterone levels by 8% to 11% when compared with placebo. It is unclear whether this increase would occur in individuals with normal testosterone levels.
Saw Palmetto fruit extract
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Saw palmetto might increase the risk of bleeding with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
Saw palmetto is reported to prolong bleeding time. Theoretically, it might increase the risk of bleeding when used concomitantly with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
Contraceptive Drugs
Saw palmetto might reduce the effectiveness of contraceptive drugs.
Saw palmetto might have antiestrogenic effects. Theoretically, it might interfere with contraceptive drugs taken concomitantly.
Estrogens
Saw palmetto might reduce the effectiveness of estrogens.
Saw palmetto might have antiestrogenic effects. Theoretically, it might interfere with estrogens taken concomitantly.
Nettle Root Extract
Antidiabetes Drugs
Theoretically, stinging nettle might have additive effects with antidiabetes drugs.
Clinical research shows that stinging nettle might decrease blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes.
Diuretic Drugs
Theoretically, combining stinging nettle with diuretic drugs may have additive effects.
Animal research suggests that the above ground parts and roots of stinging nettle may have a diuretic effect.
Lithium
Theoretically, stinging nettle might reduce excretion and increase levels of lithium.
Animal research suggests that stinging nettle has diuretic and natriuretic properties, which could alter the excretion of lithium. The dose of lithium might need to be decreased.
Warfarin (Coumadin)
There is some concern that stinging nettle might decrease the effects of anticoagulant drugs such as warfarin.
Stinging nettle contains a significant amount of vitamin K. When taken in large quantities, this might interfere with the activity of warfarin.
Wild Yam Root Extract
Estrogens
Theoretically, wild yam might increase or decrease the effects of estrogen.
Wild yam root shows estrogenic and anti-estrogenic effects in vitro. Theoretically, wild yam might interfere with hormone therapy.
Sarsaparilla Root Extract
Digoxin (Lanoxin)
Theoretically, concomitant use of sarsaparilla with digoxin might increase the risk of cardiac toxicity.
Sarsaparilla is thought to have diuretic properties, which could potentially cause potassium loss. Overuse or misuse of sarsaparilla with cardiac glycoside therapy might increase the risk of cardiac toxicity due to potassium loss.
Lithium
Theoretically, sarsaparilla might increase the effects and adverse effects of lithium.
Sarsaparilla is thought to have diuretic properties. Due to these effects, sarsaparilla might reduce excretion and increase levels of lithium. The dose of lithium might need to be decreased.
