The evidence for this product's ingredients is mixed. Boron is likely effective for boron deficiency and possibly effective for vaginal yeast infections and radiation skin damage, though those last two are not the typical reason someone takes a joint-support supplement.
Hyaluronic acid is possibly effective for dry eye and leg ulcers, but evidence for skin aging, hay fever, and sexual function is insufficient to rate. We don't have effectiveness data on file for potassium, cartilage, collagen, or the UC-II blend as they're used in this product.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Boron Glycinate is generally well tolerated in small supplement doses, but high amounts can be toxic and cause skin problems and hair loss. Avoid boron supplements during pregnancy — high doses may harm the fetus — and while breastfeeding due to limited safety data.
Potassium Chloride is generally well tolerated at normal dietary levels, but supplement doses can be risky, especially for people with kidney disease; it may cause nausea, vomiting, belly pain, or diarrhea, and in rare cases heart rhythm problems and dangerously low blood pressure. Use potassium supplements only under medical guidance during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Hyaluronic Acid appears well tolerated, though long-term safety data for supplements is limited. We have no safety information on file for the cartilage and collagen ingredients.

Potassium Chloride
Ace Inhibitors (Aceis)
Using ACEIs with high doses of potassium increases the risk of hyperkalemia.
ACEIs block the actions of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system and reduce potassium excretion. Concomitant use of these drugs with potassium supplements increases the risk of hyperkalemia. However, concomitant use of these drugs with moderate dietary potassium intake (about 3775-5200 mg daily) does not increase serum potassium levels.
Angiotensin Receptor Blockers (Arbs)
Using ARBs with high doses of potassium increases the risk of hyperkalemia.
ARBs block the actions of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system and reduce potassium excretion. Concomitant use of these drugs with potassium supplements increases the risk of hyperkalemia. However, concomitant use of these drugs with moderate dietary potassium intake (about 3775-5200 mg daily) does not increase serum potassium levels.
