What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking Nanoemulsified DIM against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.

Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
This liquid supplement contains two active ingredients. Diindolylmethane (DIM) is a compound derived from cruciferous vegetables like broccoli and cabbage.
Phosphatidylcholine is a fatty substance found naturally in cell membranes and in foods like eggs and soybeans. The product also contains several inactive ingredients — glycerin, water, ethanol, medium chain triglycerides, and vitamin E — which serve as carriers and preservatives in the liquid formulation.
Does it work?
Not established
The evidence for what this product does is limited. For diindolylmethane, we hold insufficient reliable evidence to rate its effectiveness for benign prostatic hyperplasia, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, cervical dysplasia, or mastalgia (breast pain).
Phosphatidylcholine is possibly effective for ulcerative colitis, but evidence for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, alcohol-related liver disease, Alzheimer disease, and anxiety is insufficient. In short, the science behind these ingredients' benefits hasn't been established well enough to make confident claims.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Diindolylmethane is generally well tolerated in short-term studies, but long-term safety isn't well established. The most common side effects are digestive — diarrhea, gas, nausea, and vomiting — plus headache and rash.
A rare serious reaction called DRESS (drug rash with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms) has been reported. One case of stroke occurred in a patient taking 200 mg daily, though that person had several stroke risk factors and took other supplements, so it's unclear if diindolylmethane played a role.
Phosphatidylcholine is generally well tolerated, though large doses can cause digestive upset. Common side effects include altered taste, bloating, diarrhea, nausea, and sweating.
Because diindolylmethane may affect hormones, it's best avoided — there isn't enough safety data. For pregnancy, the facts note diindolylmethane is likely safe, but phosphatidylcholine has insufficient data on supplement use; speak with your doctor.
Both ingredients lack reliable safety data for breastfeeding, so avoid use while nursing unless your healthcare provider says otherwise.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before taking this product, double-check with your doctor or pharmacist if you take estrogens (birth control pills, hormone replacement therapy) — diindolylmethane might change how they work. Also flag water pills (sodium-depleting diuretics), which carry a Moderate risk of low sodium when combined with large doses.
If you take medications broken down by your liver's CYP1A2 pathway (like some antipsychotics or high-dose caffeine), mention this supplement too, though the interaction hasn't been seen in humans yet.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no established evidence rating for its marketed use. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
This product is built on two ingredients with limited proven benefits and potential medication interactions you'll want to check first, especially if you take birth control, hormone replacement therapy, or water pills. The most common side effects are digestive.
If you're interested in trying it, talk with your doctor or pharmacist beforehand — they can review your medications and medical history to see if it's right for you.

Nanoemulsified DIM by Quicksilver Scientific Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Nanoemulsified DIM by Quicksilver Scientific contains diindolylmethane, which does interact with several medication types.
The most serious concern is with estrogens (birth control pills, hormone replacement therapy) — diindolylmethane might increase or decrease how these hormones work, and large doses could theoretically interfere with hormone therapy.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Diindolylmethane also has a Moderate interaction with sodium-depleting water pills (diuretics). Large doses have been linked to low sodium levels (hyponatremia) in a small number of trial participants, and combining it with these medications could raise that risk.
Additionally, diindolylmethane may speed up how your liver breaks down certain medications (CYP1A2 substrates like caffeine, some antipsychotics, and others), which could lower their levels in your bloodstream — though this hasn't been observed in humans yet.
Phosphatidylcholine, the other active ingredient, has no known interactions documented in our data. Altogether, these interactions span 269 individual medications.
Before starting this product, run your exact medications through the checker below, especially if you take hormonal birth control, hormone replacement therapy, or water pills.
