Theoretically, Acacia rigidula products that are adulterated with beta-methylphenylethylamine (BMPEA) might increase the levels of CYP2D6 substrates.
In vitro research shows that BMPEA, an adulterant found in many Acacia rigidula products, strongly inhibits CYP2D6 enzyme.

Here's the wrinkle with Synalgos DC: the dihydrocodeine part is a prodrug. Your liver uses an enzyme called CYP2D6 to turn it into the stronger painkiller that actually eases your pain. Some Acacia rigidula products are spiked with a hidden stimulant (BMPEA) that, in lab studies, blocks that same enzyme.

If that enzyme is slowed down, you may convert less dihydrocodeine into its active form, so you could get less pain relief than expected. On top of that, the stimulant amines in these products and the caffeine already in Synalgos DC can stack up and leave you jittery, with a racing heart or higher blood pressure. This is mostly theoretical (test-tube data only), but because these products are unpredictable, I'd run it by your pharmacist before mixing them.

Here's the gist with Synalgos DC and Acacia rigidula. Some of these supplements have been found spiked with a stimulant called BMPEA, and lab (test-tube) studies suggest it can slow down a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 by about a third. That same enzyme helps clear the dihydrocodeine portion of this pain medicine. If the enzyme runs slower, the opioid could build up a bit more than usual, which might mean more drowsiness, dizziness, constipation, or slowed breathing.

Keep in mind this is theoretical and based only on lab work, not real patients, so I don't want to alarm you. There's a second worry too: Acacia rigidula acts like a stimulant, and stacking it with the caffeine already in this product could leave you jittery or racing. Please don't change anything on your own, just check with your pharmacist or doctor first.

Here's the thing to keep in mind with Synalgos-DC: it already contains caffeine, which is a stimulant on its own. Acacia rigidula products may carry their own natural stimulant-like amines, and some have even been found spiked with an unapproved stimulant called BMPEA. Stacking two stimulant sources together can add up.

The concern here is mostly cardiovascular. Combining these could leave you with a faster heart rate, palpitations, jittery feelings, higher blood pressure, or trouble sleeping. This is a theoretical, pharmacology-based caution rather than something proven in studies, so I don't want to alarm you. Still, because the dihydrocodeine part is a real opioid and these products can be unpredictable, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before mixing them.
