Aspirin, Codeine Phosphate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Acacia Rigidula interacts with.

Theoretically, Acacia rigidula products that are adulterated with beta-methylphenylethylamine (BMPEA) might increase the levels of CYP2D6 substrates.
In vitro research shows that BMPEA, an adulterant found in many Acacia rigidula products, strongly inhibits CYP2D6 enzyme.

Here's the wrinkle with this combo. The codeine in your Aspirin with Codeine is a prodrug, meaning it doesn't do much until your liver converts it into morphine using an enzyme called CYP2D6. Some Acacia rigidula products have been found spiked with a stimulant called BMPEA, and lab testing suggests BMPEA can block that same CYP2D6 enzyme.

If that enzyme is slowed down, less codeine turns into morphine, so you might get less pain relief than expected. The good news: this is only theoretical, based on test-tube research, not real patient studies. Still, since these products may also contain unapproved stimulants of their own, I'd steer clear and check with your pharmacist or doctor before mixing them.
