Hydrocodone, Pseudoephedrine, Chlorpheniramine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Acacia Rigidula interacts with.
In vitro research shows that BMPEA, an adulterant found in many Acacia rigidula products, strongly inhibits CYP2D6 enzyme.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the wrinkle with this combo. Some Acacia rigidula products are spiked with a hidden stimulant called BMPEA, and lab testing shows BMPEA can block an enzyme called CYP2D6. That matters because your Zutripro contains hydrocodone, which actually relies on CYP2D6 to turn into its stronger pain-relieving form. So in theory, blocking that enzyme could leave you with less pain relief, not more.
On the flip side, Acacia products often act as stimulants, and Zutripro already has pseudoephedrine in it. Stacking two stimulants together could nudge up your heart rate, blood pressure, jitteriness, or trouble sleeping. Keep in mind this is mostly lab-based, theoretical evidence. Still, given the safety questions around these products, I'd run it past your pharmacist before mixing the two.

CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES

In vitro research shows that BMPEA, an adulterant found in many Acacia rigidula products, inhibits CYP3A4 enzyme by 37%.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Zutripro is a combination cough and cold medicine, and one of its ingredients, hydrocodone, is partly broken down by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Some Acacia rigidula products are spiked with a hidden stimulant called BMPEA. In lab dish studies (not in people), BMPEA slowed that enzyme by about a third. If that held true in the body, hydrocodone could build up a bit, meaning more drowsiness, dizziness, constipation, or slowed breathing.
There's also a second worry that doesn't involve the liver enzyme at all: Acacia rigidula's stimulant-like amines can stack on top of the pseudoephedrine already in Zutripro, possibly raising your heart rate and blood pressure. The CYP3A4 piece is only theoretical, but I'd still skip this supplement and check with your pharmacist first.

Here's the piece I'd want you to know: Zutripro already contains pseudoephedrine, which is itself a stimulant that can speed up your heart and nudge your blood pressure up. Acacia rigidula products may carry their own stimulant-like amines (and some have even been found spiked with an unapproved stimulant called BMPEA). Stacking two stimulants together can pile on, so the worry is a faster or pounding heartbeat, jitteriness, higher blood pressure, trouble sleeping, and feeling wired.
To be fair, this concern is theoretical, based on how these ingredients behave rather than solid studies in people. The hydrocodone and chlorpheniramine parts aren't really the issue here. Still, given the safety questions around this supplement, I'd skip it or check with your pharmacist or doctor first.
