Cyclothiazide is a thiazide-type water pill that helps your body get rid of extra fluid and salt, often to lower blood pressure or ease swelling. American spikenard has a traditional reputation for making you sweat more (a so-called diaphoretic effect). On paper, sweating more on top of a water pill that already pulls out fluid could add up to too much fluid and mineral loss.

The good news: this is rated a minor, possible interaction with weak evidence, so for most people it is more theoretical than proven. Still, watch for signs of going too far, like dizziness, lightheadedness when standing, muscle cramps, weakness, or feeling very thirsty. If you take both, please run it past your pharmacist or doctor first.
