Amphetamine Sulfate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Berberine interacts with.

Theoretically, berberine might increase serum levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2D6.
In vitro research and preliminary clinical evidence show that berberine can inhibit CYP2D6. Theoretically, use of berberine with drugs metabolized by CYP2D6 might increase drug levels and increase the risk of adverse effects.

Here's the gist for amphetamine (Benzedrine, Evekeo). Your body partly clears amphetamine using a liver enzyme called CYP2D6. Berberine appears to slow that enzyme down, so in theory it could let amphetamine build up a bit more than usual. Amphetamine is the active drug here (not a prodrug that needs activating), so more of it sticking around could mean stronger effects.

What that might look like: a faster or pounding heartbeat, higher blood pressure, jitteriness, trouble sleeping, reduced appetite, or feeling wired. To be fair, this is mostly a theoretical concern based on lab work and limited human data, so it may not be dramatic for everyone. Still, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them so they can keep an eye on you.
