Bendroflumethiazide, Nadolol falls under SEIZURE THRESHOLD LOWERING DRUGS — the group Biofeedback interacts with.

There is some concern that electroencephalogram (EEG) biofeedback might lower the seizure threshold in some patients. Theoretically, combining EEG biofeedback with seizure threshold-lowering drugs might increase the risk of seizure.

First, let me put your mind at ease. The interaction on file is about EEG (brainwave) biofeedback possibly nudging the brain toward seizures in people who are already prone to them. Corzide combines nadolol, a beta-blocker, with bendroflumethiazide, a water pill. Neither one is a prodrug, and this isn't really about how your body processes the medicine. It's a theoretical concern, based on limited evidence, about the biofeedback itself.

Honestly, Corzide isn't a classic seizure-threshold-lowering drug, so for most people this pairing is low risk. The bigger thing to watch with Corzide is your blood pressure and pulse running low, which can leave you dizzy or lightheaded. If you have a seizure history, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor before starting EEG biofeedback.
