Let me put your mind at ease here. The concern on file is that EEG biofeedback (a specific type that trains brain wave patterns) might, in theory, lower the seizure threshold in certain people. The list of drugs that can also nudge that threshold down is what triggered this flag. Your combination pill, hydrochlorothiazide with metoprolol, is a water pill plus a beta blocker used for blood pressure. It is not a classic seizure-threshold-lowering drug, so this pairing is really about the biofeedback itself, not your medication.

This is a theoretical caution backed by limited evidence, so I would not lose sleep over it. Keep taking your medicine as prescribed, and if you have a seizure history, just mention the type of biofeedback to your doctor or pharmacist first.
