Cladribine falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Boswellia Serrata interacts with.

Theoretically, Boswellia serrata might alter the effects of immunosuppressive drugs.
Some in vitro research suggests that Boswellia serrata extracts might inhibit mediators of autoimmune disorders such as leukotrienes and reduce production of antibodies and cell-mediated immunity. However, other in vitro research suggests that, when coupled with calcium ions, boswellic acids containing the keto group have immunostimulant properties within specific cell signaling pathways.

Here's the honest picture with Boswellia and Cladribine (Mavenclad). Cladribine works on your immune system, basically calming down the overactive immune cells that drive MS flares. Boswellia, in lab and animal studies, also seems to nudge the immune system, but the results are mixed. Some research shows it quiets immune activity, while other research suggests certain boswellic acids can actually stimulate parts of the immune response.

Because the effects could pull in either direction, there's a theoretical worry that Boswellia might either add to or work against what Cladribine is trying to do. To be clear, this is based only on test-tube and animal work, not on people taking the two together, so I don't want to alarm you. Still, with a drug as serious as Cladribine, I'd run the combo past your neurologist or pharmacist before adding a concentrated Boswellia supplement.

Some studies suggest it may help with osteoarthritis symptoms, but the overall evidence is limited and more research is needed. About Cladribine

What Is Cladribine Used For?

Brand names: Leustatin, Mavenclad

Cladribine tablets (brand name Mavenclad) are used to treat relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS) in adults — specifically relapsing-remitting MS and active secondary progressive MS. Because of its significant safety profile, it is generally reserved for patients who haven't responded well to, or can't tolerate, other MS medicines. It is not recommended for clinically isolated syndrome (CIS), a first episode that may or may not lead to MS.

Cladribine injection (given intravenously) is a separate product used to treat active hairy cell leukemia — a rare blood cancer — in patients who have clinically significant anemia, low white blood cell counts, low platelets, or disease-related symptoms.
