Boswellia Serrata + Trimipramine

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Trimipramine
Trimipramine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES — the group Boswellia Serrata interacts with.
In vitro research shows that Boswellia serrata gum resin inhibits CYP2C9 enzymes.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the basic idea: Trimipramine is partly broken down by a liver enzyme called CYP2C9. In test-tube studies, Boswellia appears to slow that enzyme down. If that holds true in the body, your trimipramine could clear a bit more slowly and build up, which may make its effects and side effects stronger. With a tricyclic like this, that can mean more drowsiness, dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, dizziness on standing, or a faster heartbeat.
I want to be honest about the strength of this, though. It's theoretical, based only on lab data, not real patient reports, so it may never amount to much. Still, since trimipramine can cause heart rhythm and sedation issues, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Trimipramine page
“If you take trimipramine (Surmontil), a tricyclic antidepressant, read this list carefully. Nine of the 139 supplements and herbs on file are rated major, and most touch the heart: several, grapefruit among them, can stretch the QT interval, the heart's electrical reset time, and raise the risk of a dangerous rhythm.”

About Trimipramine
What Is Trimipramine Used For?
Brand names: Surmontil, Trimip, Rhotrimine, Tripramine, Trimp
Trimipramine capsules are indicated for the relief of symptoms of depression. Endogenous depression — depression that arises from within, rather than from an obvious outside cause — is more likely to respond to treatment than other types.
In clinical studies, trimipramine worked as well as imipramine in hospitalized patients with depression, and was comparable to amitriptyline in less severely depressed outpatients.
