Tepotinib falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Boswellia Serrata interacts with.

Theoretically, Boswellia serrata might increase or decrease the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that Boswellia serrata gum resin inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes. Other in vitro research shows that Boswellia serrata extract inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes at most concentrations, although it may modestly induce enzyme activity at low concentrations.

Here's the situation with Tepmetko (tepotinib) and boswellia. Your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to break tepotinib down. In lab studies, boswellic acids appear to slow that same enzyme down. If that happened in real life, your tepotinib could clear more slowly and build up, which may mean more of its usual side effects like nausea, swelling in the legs or ankles, low appetite, diarrhea, or changes in liver tests.

I want to be honest though: this is theoretical, based only on test-tube research, not on real patients. We just don't have solid human data either way. Since tepotinib is a serious cancer medicine, please don't add boswellia without first running it by your oncologist or pharmacist.

Tepmetko (tepotinib) is used to treat adults with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) — lung cancer that has spread — whose tumors carry a specific genetic alteration called a MET exon 14 skipping mutation. A test on tumor tissue or blood is required to confirm this mutation before treatment begins.

This is a targeted therapy, meaning it works against a specific molecular driver of cancer growth rather than attacking all rapidly dividing cells.
