Here's the short version: Iloprost (Ventavis) already works by relaxing and widening your blood vessels, which naturally lowers blood pressure. The theory on file is that caprylic acid might also nudge your blood pressure downward. Stack the two together and you could, in theory, end up with blood pressure that drops a bit more than expected.

If that happened, you might notice things like dizziness, lightheadedness, flushing, headache, or feeling faint when you stand up, which are already common with iloprost. I want to be honest though: this concern comes only from animal and lab research, not solid human studies, so it's a theoretical caution, not a proven problem. Food amounts in coconut oil are very unlikely to matter. Before starting a concentrated caprylic acid supplement, just run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.
