Theoretically, concomitant use of chlorophyll with photosensitizing drugs may have additive effects.
Chlorophyll has been reported to cause photosensitization. In two case reports, pseudoporphyria developed after oral intake of chlorophyll. Theoretically, concomitant use with other photosensitizing drugs may exacerbate this effect.

Here's the simple version: both chlorophyll and etodolac can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Etodolac, like other NSAIDs, occasionally causes photosensitivity, meaning you may sunburn faster or break out in a rash on sun-exposed skin. Chlorophyll has its own reports of doing this too. Taking them together could, in theory, add up and make that reaction a little more likely.

I'll be honest, this is mostly a theoretical concern based on a couple of case reports, not strong proof, so I don't want you to panic. If you take both, just be smart in the sun: use sunscreen, wear a hat, and cover up. If you notice unusual redness, blistering, or a rash after sun exposure, check in with your pharmacist or doctor.

Etodolac capsules and tablets are used to manage the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, both short-term and long-term. They are also used for acute pain relief.

Etodolac extended-release tablets are indicated for the relief of signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and juvenile arthritis (in patients aged 6 to 16).
