Here's the simple version: both of these things push your bowels in the same direction. Dehydrocholic Acid (Decholin) works to get bile and stool moving, and colocynth is a harsh laxative that draws a lot of water into your gut. Stack them together and you can end up losing more fluid and key minerals like potassium and sodium than your body wants to part with. That can show up as watery diarrhea, cramping, weakness, dizziness, or a fast heartbeat.

This concern is based on how the two work, not on solid human studies, so it's more of a sensible caution than a proven danger. Honestly, colocynth itself can be quite toxic, so I'd steer clear and check with your doctor or pharmacist before combining anything like this.
