Here's the simple version: your product works as a laxative, and colocynth is a very harsh laxative too. Stacking two things that loosen the bowels can pile on the same effect, which is where the worry comes in. Together they could lead to too much watery diarrhea, cramping, dehydration, and a loss of important electrolytes like potassium. That matters because low potassium can leave you feeling weak, dizzy, or with an irregular heartbeat.

To be fair, this is a theoretical concern based on how these things act, not on hard human studies. Even so, colocynth itself is genuinely toxic and risky, so I'd steer clear of it entirely. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining anything like this.

About Bisacodyl

What Is Bisacodyl Used For?

Brand names: Correctol, Modane Plus

Bisacodyl is used for the temporary relief of occasional constipation and irregularity. Oral tablets (including Dulcolax Stimulant Laxative and Fleet tablets) generally produce a bowel movement within 6 to 12 hours.

Rectal suppositories (such as Dulcolax Laxative, Conlax, Avedana Gentle Laxative, and others) typically work within 15 minutes to 1 hour. The Fleet Enema (rectal) is also used for relief of fecal impaction (a severe blockage of stool) and for removal of residue after barium administration (a procedure used in certain imaging tests), and usually works within 5 to 20 minutes.
