rosiglitazone, glimepiride falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Dragon Fruit interacts with.

Dragon fruit might lower blood glucose levels. Theoretically, it might have additive effects when used with antidiabetes drugs. This might increase the risk of hypoglycemia in some patients. Dose adjustments to diabetes medications might be necessary.
Some antidiabetes drugs include glimepiride (Amaryl), glyburide (DiaBeta, Glynase PresTab, Micronase), insulin, metformin (Glucophage), pioglitazone (Actos), rosiglitazone (Avandia), and others.

Your medication, Avandaryl, combines two diabetes drugs: glimepiride and rosiglitazone. Both work to lower blood sugar. Glimepiride does this by pushing your pancreas to release more insulin, so it is the part most likely to cause low blood sugar on its own.

Here is the thing with dragon fruit: it may have a mild blood-sugar-lowering effect of its own. So eating a lot of it could, in theory, add to your medication and push your sugar a little too low. Watch for shakiness, sweating, dizziness, or feeling suddenly hungry or confused. Honestly, a normal serving as food is unlikely to cause trouble, and the evidence here is limited. Just be a bit more cautious with concentrated supplements, and check with your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.
