Here's a twist worth knowing: glucagon does the opposite of most diabetes medicines. You use it (the injection or Baqsimi nasal powder) as an emergency rescue to raise blood sugar that has dropped dangerously low. Elderflower, on the other hand, may gently lower blood sugar, based only on lab and test-tube studies, not solid human research.

So the realistic concern isn't that they pile up and overshoot. It's that elderflower could work against glucagon, possibly blunting how well it brings a low back up, or making lows more likely in the first place. The evidence here is weak and theoretical, so don't panic. Just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor and keep checking your blood sugar closely.
