Let me start with the most important point: European mandrake is genuinely toxic, and I would urge you not to take it in any form. Ethinamate (Valmid) is an older sedative-hypnotic that was once used as a sleep aid, so combining the two raises real concerns.

The interaction on file is theoretical, based only on how these substances behave in the body, not on solid human studies. Mandrake's tropane alkaloids slow down your gut, and a slower gut can let an oral drug like ethinamate sit and absorb a bit more fully. In plain terms, you could end up with stronger sedative effects, more drowsiness, grogginess, or slowed breathing. On top of that, both can cause overlapping nervous-system effects. Please don't mix these, and talk with your pharmacist or doctor first.
