Why this applies to Celecoxib, Tramadol

Celecoxib, Tramadol falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Evodia interacts with.

Theoretically, evodia might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that evodia extract inhibits hepatic CYP3A4. This effect has not been reported in humans.

This combo pill pairs celecoxib (an anti-inflammatory) with tramadol (a pain reliever). Both lean on a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to be processed. In lab dishes, evodia appears to slow that enzyme down, which in theory could let these medicines build up a bit more than usual.

If that happened, you might notice stronger or longer-lasting effects from celecoxib (stomach upset, fluid retention) or from tramadol (drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, constipation). One catch: tramadol is partly a prodrug that needs a different enzyme (CYP2D6) to turn into its active pain-fighting form, so the real-world picture is mixed. Honestly, this is only seen in test tubes, not people, so the risk is likely small. Still, run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.
