IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS
Why this applies to Diroximel Fumarate
Diroximel Fumarate falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Glyconutrients interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the thinking behind this one. Vumerity (diroximel fumarate) calms down an overactive immune system to ease your MS. Glyconutrients, on the other hand, are marketed as sugars that may stimulate immune activity. So in theory, they could push in the opposite direction and slightly blunt how well your MS medicine works.
I want to be honest though: this concern comes only from lab (test tube) research, not from real people taking these together. It's a theoretical worry, not a proven one. There's no specific liver-enzyme clash here, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, since your MS treatment matters, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or neurologist before adding glyconutrients rather than starting them on your own.

About Glyconutrients
What is Glyconutrients?
- General immune support
- Overall wellness and energy
- Cognitive or memory support
- Inflammation
- Digestive health
Glyconutrients are supplements containing certain sugar molecules (monosaccharides) that marketers claim are essential for cell communication and health. The science behind most health claims is weak and largely promotional, and your body already makes these sugars from a normal diet. They are generally low-risk, but talk to your pharmacist or doctor before using them, and don't rely on them to treat any disease.
