Repotrectinib falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) INDUCERS — the group Golden Ragwort interacts with.

Theoretically, CYP3A4 inducers might increase the risk of adverse effects from the pyrrolizidine alkaloid (PA) constituents in golden ragwort.
Golden ragwort contains PAs. PAs are substrates of CYP3A4. Theoretically, drugs that induce CYP3A4 might increase the conversion of PAs to toxic metabolites.

Here's the thing to understand about this pairing. Repotrectinib (Augtyro), the cancer medicine used for certain ROS1 and NTRK-positive tumors, can nudge up the activity of a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Golden ragwort contains pyrrolizidine alkaloids, and that same enzyme is what turns those alkaloids into harmful, liver-damaging byproducts. So in theory, speeding up that enzyme could mean more of the toxic version forming, raising the risk of liver injury.

I'll be honest, this concern comes only from lab and animal work, not from real patient cases, so it's more of a caution than a proven danger. But golden ragwort is already considered unsafe to swallow on its own. Please don't take it, and check with your oncologist or pharmacist before adding any herbal product while on Repotrectinib.
