Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS
Why this applies to Lesinurad, Allopurinol
Lesinurad, Allopurinol falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Gotu Kola interacts with.
There are at least four case reports of hepatotoxicity associated with the use of gotu kola. However, more information is needed to determine if gotu kola was the causative factor in these cases.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the simple version: this isn't about gotu kola changing how Duzallo works in your body. It's about the liver. Both can occasionally be hard on the liver. Allopurinol, in rare cases, can cause liver inflammation or a serious hypersensitivity reaction, and gotu kola has been tied to a handful of liver-injury case reports. Stacking two things that may stress the liver could, in theory, add up.
I want to be honest, though: the gotu kola evidence here is weak and anecdotal, so this is more a caution than an alarm. Still, watch for signs like yellowing skin or eyes, dark urine, belly pain, or unusual tiredness, and please run this combo by your pharmacist or doctor before adding gotu kola.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Lesinurad, Allopurinol page
“Kidney-harming herbs are the sharpest hazard on this page. Siberian cocklebur and asarabacca (often contaminated with aristolochic acid) both carry major ratings, and that matters because lesinurad, half of the Duzallo combination for gout, comes with its own kidney injury warning.”

- Skin health and scarring
Gotu kola is a traditional Ayurvedic and Asian herb that people use for wound healing, circulation, skin problems, and as a calming or memory-supporting herb.
